Ralh Construction ("Ralh Construction," "we," "us," or "our") is a licensed general contractor based in Rocklin, California (CSLB Lic. #1110057). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through ralhconstruction.com (the "Site"), our phone line, our text messages, and our online forms, and how we use and share it. It's written to meet the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) and to describe your rights under California law.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request an estimate, fill out a form, call, text, or email us, we may collect:

• Name
• Phone number (including mobile number)
• Email address
• Project address and city
• Project details, photos, budget, and timing you choose to share
• Anything else you include in a message or voicemail

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect:

• IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system
• Pages viewed, links clicked, time on page, and the site that referred you
• Approximate location (city or region, based on IP address)
• Mouse movements, clicks, and scrolling on our pages (see "Session analytics" below)

Calls and voicemail. Calls to our business line may be answered by an automated assistant and may be recorded or transcribed so we can return your call. We'll tell you at the start of the call if it's being recorded.

We don't knowingly collect sensitive personal information (like Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or health information) through the Site. Please don't send it.

2. Cookies and similar technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies from these providers:

Session analytics. Microsoft Clarity records how visitors interact with our pages (clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement) so we can find and fix problems. Clarity masks text you type into forms. Microsoft and Google process this data as our service providers and may also use it as described in their own privacy policies.

Your choices. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) and out of Clarity tracking by blocking cookies from clarity.ms. The Site still works if you block cookies.

3. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

• Respond to your calls, texts, emails, and estimate requests
• Schedule site visits, prepare quotes, and perform and manage your project
• Send you texts and emails about your request or project (and marketing messages only if you opted in)
• Understand how people use the Site and improve it
• Keep our Site and business secure and prevent fraud
• Comply with the law, including contractor licensing and recordkeeping rules

4. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share personal information only with:

• Service providers that help us run our business, such as website hosting, analytics, form, phone, and texting providers, under contracts that limit their use of it
• Subcontractors and suppliers, only the project details they need to do the work you hired us for
• Authorities and others when required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights and safety of our customers, our company, or others
• A buyer or successor if our business is sold or reorganized

5. Text messaging (SMS) and mobile information

If you give us your mobile number and opt in, we may text you about your estimate request, appointments, and project updates. We'll only send marketing texts if you separately agree to receive them.

• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help, or contact contact@ralhconstruction.com or (916) 572-6762.
• Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase or estimate.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. The exception is aggregators and providers of the text messaging service, who receive it only to deliver messages to you.

6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is no common standard for responding to DNT, so the Site does not currently change its behavior when it receives one. Third parties (such as Google and Microsoft) may collect information about your online activity over time and across different websites when you use the Site, as described in Section 2.

We don't sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of sale or sharing.

7. How long we keep information

We keep estimate requests and messages as long as needed to respond and follow up, usually up to 2 years if you don't hire us. If you hire us, we keep project records (contracts, invoices, permits, and communications) for up to 10 years after completion, matching California's time limit for construction defect claims, or longer if the law requires. Analytics data is kept according to our providers' retention settings (Google Analytics: 14 months).

8. How we protect information

We use reasonable safeguards, including HTTPS encryption on the whole Site and limited access to customer information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9. Your California privacy rights

CalOPPA. You can review and request changes to personal information you gave us through the Site by emailing contact@ralhconstruction.com.

CCPA/CPRA. Ralh Construction is a small business and is not currently required to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA. We still honor these requests from California residents:

• Know/access: ask what personal information we have about you
• Delete: ask us to delete it, subject to legal exceptions (for example, records we must keep for contracts, permits, or warranties)
• Correct: ask us to fix inaccurate information

To make a request, email contact@ralhconstruction.com with the subject "Privacy Request" or call (916) 572-6762. We'll verify your identity by matching information we already have, and we'll respond within 45 days. We won't treat you differently for making a request.

Shine the Light (Cal. Civ. Code §1798.83). We don't share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

10. Children's privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

11. Links to other sites

The Site links to other sites, like Google, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. When we do, we'll post the new version on this page and change the "Last updated" date above. If we make a material change to how we use personal information, we'll post a clear notice on the Site.
